It's Not Cheating
Using hacks and shortcuts is rarely a symptom of evil trickery. Instead, it's a marker of being sanely productive.
I recently realized that I’ve always misapprehended the concept of cheating. Not in the context of personal relationships. Rather, in the sense that whenever I’m doing things that matter to me, I prohibit myself from seeing or taking the easy route. I automatically presume, “Oh, I can’t do that. It would be cheating. Cheating is evil.”
